		<description>While I agree that technology is a major cause for the newspaper to lose readers, there is another killer problem for them.  That is most newspapers pricing structure is now considerably overpriced.  I have published in maybe 40 major newspapers over the past 4 years and their ad pricing is the same as it was years ago.  Whereby Google and the others leaders in paid search drives far more traffic at a lower price.

Dollar per dollar, I receive over twice as many sign ups from paid search verses the return for the same amount from advertising with the newspapers.  In all likelyhood, I have made my last newspaper ad purchase in December and will not consider them again.
